THERE IS BEAUTY IN ALL OF US

After the school of Arts in Utrecht – the Netherlands, Mapye started drawing speed portraits/caricatures at events in the Netherlands for a few years. Then she started drawing the faces from people all over the world as a traveler.

Since she was young she always loved to draw people to catch the soul of a person on paper. Her caricatures are not offensive, rather cute. She thinks it is more important to draw portraits that are similar to the persons she draws than that they are stretched completely out of proportion. Because there is beauty in all of us.
